My husband and I were on a Collette (small group) Tour and we were blessed with this most wonderful adventure at Tartufi Nacci, Tuscany. Monica greeted us with the most wonderful, welcoming energy imaginable. She explained the history of their Truffel farm, dating as far back as her Grandfather. We went into the Tuscan Forest to begin our hunt with two beautiful Truffel hunting dogs, their Beautiful owner Angelica, Monica and the tour group. It was so exciting to see the dogs alert to the truffel buried in the ground, distracting the dogs so not to have them eaten and then finally dug up by our skilled hunter. We found 5 in total. When we returned to the farm, Monica's lovely sisters had prepared a wonderful meal of cheeses, meats all drizzled in balsamic vinegar and truffel oil, followed up with a most delicious truffel pasta that Monica topped with our fresh truffels we just got. This was all topped with a lovely glass of wine. I ventured into their shop and purchased some dried truffels, truffel butter and truffel oil. I was not coming home without a taste of Italy! If I could, I would have brought Monica back home. Such a beautiful experience, I will treasure this memory for the rest of my life or until I return. Thank...

The most fun I had in Italy was truffle hunting with Tartufi Nacci! If you are considering this kind of tour, absolutely do it. If you are looking for guides, you've found them in Riccardo and Monica! Our group had so much fun with them from start to finish. They were so welcoming and are fantastic hosts. The took us to a nearby forest with their adorable and friendly truffle dogs, Birba and Maya, and we had a pleasant trail hike for a little over an hour. I wasn't expecting truffle hunting to be so exciting, but once those dogs started digging we were all on the lookout for truffles! We found 4 black truffles during our tour and Riccardo provided so much interesting information about truffles and the area of Tuscany during our hike. After the hike, we went back to their shop to sample multiple truffle products which were all so delicious! We purchased fresh truffles and jarred truffle products to bring home with us to the US. They were wayyy more affordable and better quality than anything we can find in a grocery store at home. Thank you Riccardo and Monica for a unique, unforgettable experience. Highly recommend a tour with...

Out of all my trips and experiences in Italy, this one has to be my most precious and unique. Monica and Riccardo were the most welcoming and warm hosts from the moment I arrived. I arrived to the site by bike, which they offered to store for me. With the other members in my group, Riccardo led us up the mountain with their adorable and talented dogs. Together, we were able to find 5 truffles. Along the way, Riccardo educated us on the ins and outs of truffle hunting and selling, and the history of San Miniato. When we got back, Monica prepared us DELICIOUS samples of truffle-infused foods, and later a lunch with the truffles we had found. Meeting this family and the people in my tour group was the highlight of my trip and worth every penny. Highly recommend if you are anywhere near...

This was the best excursion we had in Italy. Monica & Riccardo are lovely hosts, both experts in the magic of truffle hunting. We went out with Riccardo and their beautiful dogs in the forest and found two rare white truffles. It was amazing to watch their dogs work and their connection with Riccardo. Afterwards, Monica prepared for us a beautiful tasting which we paired with the truffles the dogs had just found. Their store is part museum to the hunt and Monica’s family as well as Riccardo’s recent successes and their many dogs over the years. It is also part alimentari for tasty truffle condiments and other products. Ask ahead about tours or visit to pursue their products. Thank you for having us!
