Read the reviews before going!

To arrive at the beach, you must take a narrow and somewhat difficult trail. We were not aware of that (I’m just reading the reviews after having gone there). We were wearing flip flops and a shoulder bag and it was not easy. After changing to proper sneakers it got a lot easier.

We also got there kind of late so did the trail under the sun at noon, was a bit too intense. And the beaches were really small so really full by the time we got there.

Personally I enjoyed the trail and the views which are stunning, but if I knew it beforehand I’d have prepared better.

And do not take the parallel path inland even if Google maps tells you to do that. It ends up at a locked gate. (Private condominium...

Beautiful beach but for me not worth it walking on that kind of pathways with a lot of bags, umbrella etc. necessary for all day... it was too crowded, the place where we sit had smell of urine.... on the way back to parking we lost our way and went to the path that was going to private villas and tired of searching how to get out to the main street while walking suddenly in front of us appeared a snake long about 2 meters where i started screaming fearly and there eas noone for help... and we had to continue searching the path in all those narrow goat paths entirely covered with bushes... for me it was NO btw the parking for all day cost 12€ and everybody who parked around got parking...

🤣🤣🤣 just read some of the reviews ...

Indeed is not for flip flops and beach trolley to reach there! But IS NOT A DANGEROUS WALK! My 8yo little girl had no issue to climb and walk trough the paths and the rocks. The rocks are very adherent and rounded. It was very clean, appart from the microplastics on the sand, there was NO LITTER! Actually met a man that was doing litter picking. IF WE ALL WOULD DO A BIT OF LITTER PICKING where we go, the WORLD WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER PLACE! Probably on high season is very bussy and not that charming ... but we went after 6 pm and stayed until nearly dark, returned with head torches on the last bit. My little girl was so chuffed of...

How to get there 👇 1️⃣ Piscine di Venere 👉 Only accessible by boat from Cala Gonone. 2️⃣ Cala Goloritzé 👉 You can either take a boat from Cala Gonone or go on a hike, starting at the parking lot called Su Porteddu. You’ll need to book a ticket through the “Heart of Sardinia” app for access. 3️⃣ Spiaggia delle Vacche 👉 It’s a 30-minute walk along the coast, starting from the town Cala Girgolu. ❗️ We’ve got another reel dedicated to this beach, with all the details on how to get there. 4️⃣ Cala Luna 👉 The easiest way is to take a boat from Cala Gonone. Another option is a 6 km hike, starting in Cala Fuili. 5️⃣ Cala Granara 👉 Only accessible by boat from La Maddalena or Palau. ❗️Check out our story highlight for the link to a guided boat trip. How to get there 👇 Sardinia has numerous stunning beaches, so it didn’t take much convincing for us to plan a trip there 😁 However, when we stumbled upon this beach on Instagram, it was the final nudge we needed to book our trip. How much inspiration do you draw from Instagram when choosing your next destination? ✈️🌎🗺️ To reach Spiaggia delle Vacche in Sardinia: 🚗 Park your car in the small village of Cala Girgolu. Parking options at the side of the road are very limited, so we recommend visiting this beach only during the low or shoulder seasons and preferably early in the morning or late in the afternoon. 🚶🏽‍♀️ Walk towards the end of the village and take the LAST path on the left leading to the sea. There’s a small wooden sign somewhat hidden in the trees that points the way to Spiaggia delle Vacche. 🏖️ It’s about a 20-minute walk along the coast. Along the way, you’ll encounter several stunning secluded bays until you reach the beach. ❗️ Wear long pants and sturdy shoes as there’s quite a bit of scrambling required to stay on the right path. Save this reel for your trip to Sardinia 📌 #italytrip #sardiniaexperience #hiddengems #europetravel #europetrip #sardinienurlaub #bestplacestogo #europeansummer #europeandestinations #summerineurope #exploresardinia #visitsardinia #travelblogger #reiseblogger
