Spiaggia di Salinedda — Attraction in Santu Diadòru/San Teodoro

A truly beautiful beach. The water was crystal clear. Much quieter than the other local beaches.

There are sun loungers and parasols reserved for residents of the local holiday flats, however when we were there, there was no-one to regulate this and we managed to use these - there were lots available. Not sure if this is regular but today was very windy which probably helped.

There is a 'car park' at the end of the road, which isn't on Google, which we didn't know about so stated at the Pay & Display which is only 10 minutes walk away.

Only issue being when the wind changed in the late evening the stagnant water behind the beach did...

Split in a private area Associated to Baia salinedda residence and a much bigger Public part. This beach is a nice spot If you do Not mind the piles of seaweed on the Sand (it is all Natural) and some in the water. Rather Not flooded with people and has a Cost free parking place that ist as Well used by some Campers for...

Dal bivio davanti al parcheggio di Cala Suaraccia (le farfalle) si gira a destra su strada sterrata (circa 500 metri, percorribili senza problemi, qualche sasso, no buche profonde, a 10kmh in 3 minuti si arriva a destinazione) per raggiungere il piccolo parcheggio gratuito per circa 30 auto.Da qui sentiero a piedi che in altri 5 minuti porta in spiaggia.Discretamente riparata in caso di maestrale, acqua oltre i 1,60 metri di profondità poco dopo essere entrati in mare.No alghe in acqua, si nella parte est della cala (siamo pur sempre in un parco marino!).A settembre alle ore 13 in spiaggia c'erano 30 persone, ombrelloni ben distanti e pace assoluta.La parte ovest ha ombrelloni e lettini per ospiti del residence.
