This museum is a must see for anyone interested in the Second World War. Run by dedicated volunteers, many of them veterans themselves, this organization and museum have an impact much bigger than the size of the building would suggest from the outside.

These amazing volunteers have a passion and expertise in WWII history and are a wealth of information. You will leave with a new appreciation for the battles fought here.

If you have family that fought in the area of the Gothic Line in Italy in WWII, as I did, here you will find people with information about those units that can bring those events to life for you.

The museum displays are well planned and executed. Most of the items are authentic, found or donated by veterans or their families. The maps, exquisite dioramas, and photos help to bring the past into sharper focus to help understand the events of that battle.

Beyond the museum, the volunteers have marked trails and battlefields to allow you to navigate the route of the battle. Still other sites have been reconstructed to demonstrate the locations and conditions during the battle.

The battlefield tours are highly recommended.

If you have an interest in WWII history- Visit this museum. If you have a family connection to the Italian campaign in WWII- visit this museum. If you are touring norther Tuscany and want to learn more about the months when this beautiful area turned into a nightmarish battlefield- visit this museum. You will not regret it.

While you are there, visit the gift shop area. There are books, artifacts, and other items available for purchase. Please consider visiting and supporting the great work of these dedicated individuals working to honor and preserve the history of all who fought here...

The best museum display wise that we have visited to study the effects if WWII in Italy. The guide was extremely helpful. The displays were well designed and thought provoking. A nice store with quality merchandise. There is a German cemetery nearby and two German bunkers that we got access to as part of our tour. The guide may be able to help you as well. Hiking trails all around. A great area to...

A real treasure box for military history buffs, who are interested in the Second World War and the Gothic line. Incredible items, all originals from the battlesides, near by. You can also book a bunker tour there. I spent 4 hours there. 3 parking lots for normal...

MOLTO emozionante...
