Ristorante Aloha veranda sul mare — Attraction in Sciacca

The guy that collects the money for the parking lot obviously gets paid to tell and accompany people downstairs to the restaurant. After telling him a few times „no“ he still proceeded to be very pushy and insisted he would go with us. So he did and touched us on our shoulders we felt very uncomfortable. After that we were obviously not in a good mood and not saying „thank you“ like he maybe wanted which led to him complaining about us to a guy working at the restaurant. He talked about us right in front of us and pointed at us which made us feel even worse. The atmosphere was very loud because there was a dj (even tho it was afternoon) with really bad music. The blonde waitress was the opposite of the whole place and was very calm and kind which was nice. Food experience was pretty good, I had Pasta with pistachio and gamabretti👍👍 I just feel like it was a bit pricey (i think 20€) as I paid 10 for the same meal...

Great beach bar - one of the few in the area open in October. We went there on a beautiful sunny Saturday - hired loungers and had lunch in the bar. Best bread and olive oil we have had on this trip to Sicily, we had seconds! Had a fish platter each, with octopus, prawns and calamari. Very nice indeed - the octopus and calamari could have been served hotter though (deducted a star for that - I like my food good and hot) the prawns were fine. Good value for money. The staff don’t speak English here, but then we don’t speak Italian! But we got by thanks to google and a lot of laughter, especially when we got the wrong food at first - we thought we had ordered the wrong dish! But fortunately it was claimed by a lovely lady and her mum who realised what was happening. Language difficulties are no one’s fault and laughter is better than frustration! Un posto dove tutti, a partire dal proprietario in primis, sono scortesi e poco professionali. A pranzo, avevamo chiesto se vi era possibilità di ordinare panini diversi da quelli esposti (con 40 gradi e senza frigo!) che due giorni prima, avendo mangiato, ci avevano fatto stare male. Ci dicono che non è possibile e che loro fanno 600 panini al giorno (ma come è possibile in una giornata con quasi tutti gli ombrelloni vuoti? Chiaro che si trattasse di una informazione falsa!). A quel punto decidiamo di mangiare al tavolo e ordiniamo una frittura di gamberi, due bruschette e delle patate al forno. La frittura di gamberi era mal fatta, i gamberi pieni di olio e molli, si capiva che non erano stati immersi in olio portato a giusta temperatura. Le patate al forno, che neanche così si potevano chiamare: dopo aver segnalato la prima volta che erano crude, le hanno cotte qualche altro minuto, ma niente altro erano che patate scaldate, messe in forno tagliate in 4, senza olio, né spezie. Totalmente insapori e ancora crude! Se un ristorante (che si dichiara tale) non sa cucinare queste pietanze così basiche, è grave, ed è ancora più grave che non solo non abbiano accettato la critica, ma che ci abbiano (letteralmente!!!) cacciato dal tavolo. Volevano farci andare via anche dallo stabilimento, pagato 2 giorni prima, quasi scortate a prendere le nostre cose da sotto l'ombrellone. Ho dovuto minacciare di chiamare i carabinieri per rimanere in un posto che comunque avevo pagato e che, per quanto parte di uno stabilimento, rientra comunque all'interno di una spiaggia che è un luogo pubblico. Senza parole per la scortesia, la poca umiltà, l'incapacità totale di ammettere dei deficit nel servizio offerto! Invece di ammettere, preferiscono cacciare le persone che dovrebbero per loro essere clienti! Menomale che è uno dei pochi posti, in Sicilia, dove ci siamo imbattuti in una tale mancanza di cultura del cibo, del servizio, dell'ospitalità. Mai...
