Cantina Argiolas was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Sardinia. We cannot recommend it highly enough! What was planned as a 1.5-hour tour with wine tasting turned into an enlightening 2.5-hour session on Sardinia's wine and hospitality. Located in the charming town of Serdiana, which feels like the very heart of Sardinia, it is worth every minute of the drive from Cagliari. We were blown away by Argiolas's commitment to quality winemaking. They don't just replicate continental methods, but deeply understand why things were done a certain way and adapt those methods to honor the uniqueness of the region. This thoughtful approach has resulted in some truly surprising and delightful wine bottles. We opted for the tour that included tasting four different wines. The journey was brisk yet packed with intriguing insights into the story of the family, the winemaker, and the technology used in their winemaking process. Our guide, Marco, is a must-ask when you visit - his knowledge and delivery were fantastic. We got to see both automated and traditional aspects of wine production. The wine tasting itself was complemented by delicious snacks - the olive oil was exceptionally good, to the point that we're currently figuring out how to order a box to Poland! The selection of wines ranged from the more familiar ones to a few exquisite finds. This was our sole winery visit in Sardinia, but based on the impressive quality and hospitality, we will definitely be returning. If management will ever have a chance to read this: Wow! Just wow! We left Cantina Argiolas asking ourselves, "Why is Marco, this incredibly knowledgeable and passionate expert, showing tourists around?" His vast understanding of European grapes, history, traditions, and technology was simply mind-blowing. We've been on many wine tours, and Marco stood out by a mile. His ability to weave stories and explain the intricate aspects of winemaking was just brilliant. He answered our barrage of questions as if he'd been a part of the whole production process! He responded to our multiple questions about technology, barrel production, and the rationale behind certain bottles. What struck us was Marco's love for wine, particularly Sardinian wine. Marco's insight into his favorite wines and how his preferences differ from typical Sardinian habits was genuinely enlightening. We also loved hearing his respect for the winemaker at Argiolas and his deep understanding of the family's history and their journey to becoming an innovative winery. In conclusion, Marco was the superstar of our wine tasting experience. His infectious enthusiasm and impressive knowledge add so much to the overall charm of Cantina Argiolas. Cheers to Marco!

We had such a wonderful experience at Argiolas Wine House! They graciously welcomed us without a reservation, making us feel truly at home. The wines were absolutely delicious, I especially recommend the red Is Solinas, which was rich, tasty, and unforgettable. We spent a blissful three hours enjoying amazing snacks, including fresh olives and bread, paired perfectly with our wine. A special thanks to Emmanuele, who was incredibly knowledgeable about wine and an absolute gentleman. His passion for his craft and genuine care for customers made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sardinia!

Interesting tour, tasted great wines. Somethings could improve from our pov: 1. The tasting plate was too small. 2. Tour did not start on time so we were in the hurry afterwards to get to our next plan (olive oil) 3. Some of the wine bottles were cheaper on Vivino than on the production site! 4. Very interesting for us was also to taste the house wine, which is most favorite of the locals, but they did not have it to try! Very very unfortunate.. Overall: we loved the beautiful winery and enjoyed the tasty wine! Thank you.

We went there a few days ago just for a quick stop to buy and maybe taste some wine. We were aware of the current Covid situation and that a wine tasting could only be done with an appointment in advance. However, it was the atmosphere and the fact that we hardly got noticed by the two young ladies at the desk. They were busy by talking to each other without noticing us. Even not saying hello or explaining anything. I have to recognize that we got offered after asking from my side two glasses of wine ( Pedera and Costera) which we didn’t want to taste, but there was no choice to request what we really wanted to taste. From a customer perspective very unfriendly behavior which came across also arrogant. We know the wine and they produce really great variety of Sardinia wines which we still very much like but the experience in the cantina was simply disappointing. Not worth to go there spontaneously, as almost in all cantinas on Sardinia, the wines in the supermarket are cheaper than in the...
