Azienda Agricola Alberto Quacquarini — Attraction in Serrapetrona

"My most favorite wine in the World!" and I live in Napa even! If you are ever in this region of Italy You must take the drive up the hill to Serrapetrona where you will find Alberto Quacquarini and this amazing varietal Vernaccia!!!! And if the wine is not reason enough to visit then the deserts are! So many amazing deserts I don't know where to begin! But my favorite will always be there biscotti that you dip in Spumante Dolce!!!! SOOOO GOOD!!! If visiting in August make sure you go to the festival of Vernaccia there is no more of a better Italian experience then that! Great People, Great Food, Great Wine! Now if I can only find that store in San Francisco that sells my Vernaccia Spumante Secco...

We stopped by at noon for a quick visit, knowing they closed at 12.30. Massimiliano greeted us warmly and gave us a generous tasting served with their savory salumi. He explained how these unique and delicious wines are made and we ended up staying until 13.30! "Max" was very friendly and knowledgable.
