Absolutely outstanding
Found just outside Syracuse, about a 10-15 minute taxi ride, really nice surroundings. Very flexible, just phone up on the day and say what time you want to come (opens at about 5pm).
The owner Olaf is very friendly and speaks good English (sto imparando Italiano ma non sono bravo abbastanza per questo) and talks you through a bit of the history of the winery and about each wine.
We did the €40 option, 5 great wines (2 Moscato, Nero d'Avola, Rosado, Grillo).
Each was accompanied by some of the best small plates of food I've ever tasted, very good value. How something as simple as fried sage leaves can taste that good is beyond me! The highlight being the bruschetta with ricotta, anchovy, lemon zest and sage - insanely good and works so well with the wine.
There is also a more expensive option I believe for €80/8 wines which I can only envy those who do...
I also have to mention the friendly dogs who greet you and love a...

The tour, led by the passionate and knowledgeable owner and wine maker, Olaf, is informative and engaging. Olaf shares captivating stories about the winery’s history and the unique characteristics of the local grape varieties.
The tasting session was incredible and a highlight of our trip to Sicily. We chose to taste 9 wines, with food pairings. This experience featured a curated selection of their finest wines, including the standout Nero d'Avola and Etna Rosso, paired perfectly with local cheeses, charcuterie, and other organic small plates that Olaf crafted in their outdoor kitchen. We were also able to do a tasting of their family olive oil - delicious!

We then sat down in a very cozy setting with a few tables that were set very nicely. Each wine is paired with the perfect dish. They were also very accommodating with allergies/ or things you don’t wish to eat.
Each small plate was delicious! The salad with white melon was one of our favorites.
Our favorite wine was the Rose. Drinks like white and was so refreshing and light. We bought a bottle of that and also the Petit red wine.
Very clean, professional, and friendly. Family owned.
Super casual. No frills. Would be fun with a group.
Thank you Olaf and family for a...
