Impressive cave, well worth a visit, especially as it's free and only a short stroll from the Grotta Marittima pillirina sea cave.

We parked at the end of the nearest residential street; 28C8+GXR Syracuse, Free municipal consortium of Syracuse, Italy

We found a well-trodden path which led us through the scrub and down the hillside to the cave. The route was a little precarious in places, with some steep steps - you'll need sensible footwear.

The cave itself was interesting, with a beautiful view and some great photo...

There’s almost no parking and you’ll be parking next to someone’s house thinking that you came to the wrong place. After opening rusty small gate thinking you are trespassing onto someone’s property, you can find a not so walked on path down to the cave. It’s a bit eerie walking into the cave as it looks like it could be home to bears, wolves, or Sasquatch. Nothing fascinating about the cave, but there is a cool little bay further down, which is where this video...

The place is beautiful on photos, however you can't see it with your own eyes. We couldn't reach it by car and lost there half of the day. There are 2 possibilities to see the spot: by boat or prepare yourself to walk on foot a very long way through the thorny bushes, sharp stones without any shadow for miles....
