Grotta dei Muletti (Cala Muletti) — Attraction in Terrasini

Beautiful spots we visited for sunset. We had it all to ourselves and loved it. If you like nature, an adventurous paths, a nice view the sea and birds, remember this place. We were warned that the path is rather difficult. We had a golden retriever along and managed well. I’d say it’s manageable, even with kids if they are used to rough terrain. But if you have issues walking it might be more difficult. We didn’t swim and were told it’s not good for swimming. Our dog still jumped into the water. I can’t tell if people swim here usually as they want anyone else there. There are steps leading all the way down to the water. There is a big parking lot that was free of charge. Il luogo è incantevole, davvero unico. In tutta sincerità è il mio luogo marittimo preferito in assoluto. Ma bisogna precisare subito che: l accesso a questo luogo non è per nulla semplice, l area che lo circonda versa in condizioni pietose, dal ex villaggio turistico abbandonato che pullula di spazzatura e amianto fino al poco pratico percorso che porta fino alla grotta. Ah, in alcuni punti in prossimità della grotta delle colombe non è raro che dalla parete sovrastante si stacchino piccole o grandi pietre che aiutate dalla gravità metteranno a rischio la vostra incolumità(io stesso ho sperimentato il terrore di assistere a scene del genere più o meno gravi). Le acque sono più che inquinate da alcuni scarichi industriali e l affollamento dovuto ai turisti è davvero disarmante(soprattutto se pensiamo a come era una volta). Per elencare l ultimo lato negativo del luogo in questione è impossibile ignorare che per accedere si è obbligati a usufruire dei servizi di un parcheggio a pagamento che sorge su un terreno privato tra la zona balneare e l ingresso all intera area. Ciò obbliga a posteggiare molto più lontano rispetto a quando il parcheggio non esisteva e a fare dunque molta più strada e dislivello in più. Inoltre il parcheggio in se versa in condizioni pietose, e vi potrebbe addirittura capitare che qualcuno blocchi la vostra autovettura parcheggiandovi dietro. Eh si, perché anche se pagate un euro all ora, i parcheggiatori non terranno minimamente sotto occhio la vista vettura. Personalmente adoro questo posto e supero volentieri tutte le avversità fini ad ora citate per poche ragioni, che però per me hanno tanto valore. Primo tra tutti è la vista, la storia e l’atmosfera che è possibile respirare in tale luogo. E secondo ma non meno importante, la possibilità di tuffarsi da diverse altezze(anche se non proprio in estrema sicurezza). Ci sono spot dove è possibile lanciarsi da un metro, da 2-4-6-10-15 e 20 metri. Ovviamente gli ultimi sono solo per amanti del brivido come me. Per finire potrei stare qui a descrivere la particolarità unica delle acque della grotta delle colombe, ma non voglio rovinare la sorpresa a nessuno, vi dico solo che vi basterà fare un bagno nelle acque adiacenti alla grotta per capire di cosa io...

Google takes you to the parking lot, but you can actually drive down from there. It looks steep, but you can manage. Once you reach the beach, you can park your car and walk on the trail.
