Tuerredda Beach — Attraction in Teulada

I want to start of this review saying that this place is so beautiful! Beautiful crystal waters! But there are down points coming with it all as well. 100's and 100's of people and only 1 bathroom for women and 1 for men - free of charge - and long queues all day. Showers not working. I believe people wouldn't mind to pay for having the facilities. 100's and 100's of people and just 4 showers, by the car park. Which is a good 5 minutes walk from the beach. They charge €2 per person for a 4 minute shower, it is ok But then they charge €10 for the car park as well! As many other beautiful places in the world, you Need to get there very early in the morning if you want to get a place on the beach. It Gets Very very busy from the early morning hours. Very expensive bar/restaurant for what you can order. There were just 2 opened. The only reason I give 3 star is to do with the services available there, otherwise it would have to be a 1!! As said before, I would not had minded paying more for the car park, the toilets or everything else as this place is so beautiful! But please, you should offer the facilities. And there are so many ways to keep them...

Gotta adjust my review... Used to be the greatest beach in the south of sardinia. Nice restaurant, nice umbrellas and a lot of space...

Since 2019, the umbrellas are closer together and the prices have gone up. Also the service team, with exception of the ones that have worked here some years, has gotten worse...

Today, our neighbour umbrella for two got free during the afternoon. Shortly after, they placed 5(!!!) People next to us. The distance between the umbrellas is just quite enough to put the beds next to eachother, one to the left and one to the right of the umbrellas pillar. Thats how you find the umbrellas in the morning, and with 2 p. per umbrella, you have about 40-50cm of space to your left or right. This used to be way more... Probably 1m... Now imagine 5 people under 1 umbrella, obviously our space was massively compromised.

This used to be a 5 star rating. But the quality depreciation and the price augmentation is now only worth a 2 star. 1 for the perfect beach and sea, and the second one fot...

IG: love_to_exist If you’re in Cagliari, skip Poetto (no offense) and take a scenic 1 hr 15 min drive to this absolute dream of a beach. Spiaggia di Tuerredda looks like it was photoshopped by Mother Nature herself – calm, clear turquoise waters and soft white sand that makes you forget about your emails. 📵☀️

🚗 Pro tip: We rented a car with SIXT at the Cagliari Airport – easy booking, no stress, and they had tons of options (even one that made me feel like I was in a Bond movie… in flip-flops). Reliable, clean, and perfect for coastal cruising. 🕶️

🍝 Once you arrive:

Get there early! This beach has a capacity limit, and once it’s full, you’re out of luck. Sardinians take their beaches very seriously. Beach chairs are €10 – best €10 you’ll spend if you don’t like sand stuck to… everything. Restaurants right on the beach = pasta + Aperol with a view? Yes please.
