I have been visiting Sardinia every summer without exception for many years. Tuerredda is my favorite among about 30 beaches which I have been in Sardinia. I was at Tuerredda 10 days in a row this year. If you go to the right side of the beach after the entrance, you will find a quieter and more peaceful area. The water is crystal clear with turquoise color and it is amazing feeling to swim there. Sometimes the parking lots are full even at 9.30 in the high season. Although there is no need to make a reservation for the public beach in advance, sometimes you can see people waiting and not being allowed in because the beach is full around 10.30. In August, I recommend being at the beach before 9 or after 16. I was stung by an invasive jellyfish on my last day this year, but I will definitely be back :)

Fantastic beach with warm welcome of our friend Mattia. The staff is so professional and friendly as nowhere in Tuerreda. They speak many languages in case you don’t speak Italian. Marvelous place, excellent fresh food, correct prices, white flavor sand, the color of the sea is from azure till green and blue. I mean, you have to catch a flight and go there. Once you are there, you have to travel. Please, don’t get stuck to your hotel beach. Move around! And go to Tuerreda. And you will remember me. I don’t know what to add to my previous review. This place has to be visited at least once in the lifetime. It is one of those wonders of the world which has to be seen. Fantasmagorique place!!! You have an impression to be in the space ...

The only beach that was a disappointment in Sardinia! we read that it's a very popular place, but we didn't think that at 11 am it was already full and you couldn't get in! Ok, we'll try next day! the next day we went there again at ten o'clock and it was full again. However, the good thing is that not many people can go in, so it can't be crowded! So, for the third time, we went in the afternoon after another beach... Well, it's not worth as much as the hype surrounding it! The beach hill is sand covered with a layer of seaweed half a meter thick! The water was cloudy and there were many plants in it! There was a small bay to the left of the shore, where we could swim safely, the water was really clean. So the hype is bigger than what the place actually gives. it's nice, but it's not worth it for anyone to go there at eight o'clock in the morning.

The problem with this beach is the overcrowding of people, especially on weekends, avoid it in August, avoid it on Saturdays and Sundays. However, the beach is characterized by a triangle shape, the water here is really clear thanks to the inclination of the sun and the currents. There is also a restaurant and bar equipped with excellent cuisine and all kinds of services. I recommend you stop for dinner, without going home, but having an aperitif on the beach, reserve a table where you will later go to dinner watching the night arrive.. . Wonderful... You will pay a lot though because the place is expensive, but you will be glad you did, and you will do it again the following year.

It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia but is of limited size. For this reason, from 1 June to 13 October the beach is accessible to a limited number of people: free beach 729 people (not bookable); bathing establishments 371 people (can be booked). The people is counted when they are entering,to see in real time if there are availability check "Tuerredda.spacli". Obviously on weekends you have to arrive early to enter, in the other days maybe there is place also later in the day. Parking €10 per day; €6 after 2pm. Camper €15 per day.

It is a pretty beach but it gets very crowded. Private beach clubs don’t make it any better as they rent sunbeds at €30-50/day and keep them reserved all day even though most guests only turn up at around 2 pm, which seems like a waste of time. The remaining „libre” ( free) beach is so crowded people get apprehensive about their spots😆. I would avoid during July and Aug. Ah, parking is €9 too, so prepare to splurge. I do believe there are better beaches in the area that are not as crowded, some are not crowded at all! They do have a good restaurant though!
