Cantina Todini Srl — Attraction in Todi

We went to Cantina Todini for a wine tasting as we were staying locally on a holiday with friends and family. We booked in advance which seemed to be the right decision as it doesn’t look like they do a huge number of tastings. As none of our group spoke Italian they organised an English-speaking member of staff to translate for us.

The experience was excellent - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about their wines, and happy to take time to show us around and answer all our questions.

We tried 4 wines and had a platter of meats and cheese to accompany them. The wines were good quality (well-rated on Vivino too), interestingly different and reflective of the local region. This was €20 / person which seemed a fair price given the wines and the overall experience.

A lovely experience, seeing a snapshot of the wine production and then tasting several red wines with a platter of cheese and meat for €20 per person. We felt very welcomed and could take our time enjoying the wines and food. There was no pressure to buy any wine, but it was so good we did buy two bottles to enjoy at our leisure during our trip. There is also an upmarket restaurant and hotel (Relais Todini) a short walk away, along with an animal park (Leo Wild Park)....

Stefania couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with our large group. She made sure there was a special area for the kids and set up a lovely vegetable spread for a vegan family member of ours. The rest of us got an impressive charcuterie platter along with our wines.
