VILLAGGIO TURISTICO PARCO ELENA — Attraction in Torchiara

dear friends let me tell you about this place were i spent my vacation this summer that is from april to first week of june. we were five us from my family we came to this parco elena which is a great place for all the ages my parents enjoyed relaxed walks me and my wife enjoyed lazy days swimming and my son he had a blast whole day played foot ball, cycled, played pingpong , tennis, there were unlimited activity for him he grew more confident and strong. the management of the village takes care of very minute details and are very friendly.the house are clean and very homely, the restaurant cooks some of the best italian cuisine. there are many place nearby to visit like pestum, agroploly, santa maria,the caves of castle ceveita,river clore, old village richino, pompie, vesiveo...

We visited Parco Elena in August and despite the lovely website and quick responses to emails this was a big disappointment. The accomodation whilst very spacious was extremely basic and overpriced for the standard of fitout and service. The park itself had potential but its location was difficult to find and impossible without a car. The houses are spacious but lacking in kitchen facilities with no attention to detail. For example, no linen was provided at all, no cleaning agents nor basic bathroom paper. Despite the fact that there were large terraces no garden furniture was provided. More importantly NO AC!. On the positive side they did make an effort to entertain the children with nightly shows and music but it went on till the early hours. Pricey for such basic...
