Rocky beach, I didn't swim but as the water is transparent, we can see rocks. Be careful following google map by car. The road is very narrow and rocky, your car will be scratched with some bush and no place to park. And if you have another 20 minutes by foot 👣 But I guess if you go on a hike from the town it must be much better, go by foot 🦶

The beach is nothing special, you have to provide shade yourself or find a temporary shelter in the nearby sloping overhangs. In fact, the beach is quite unfavorable for recreation or , better is snorkeling in the area and even better are the surrounding hills. The views are superb. The nature in the surroundings is excellent.

Spiaggia sabbiosa con scogli a pelo d'acqua, ampia e poco frequentata in quanto non raggiungibile con auto. Esposta a ovest e quindi non protetta dal maestrale. Per i locali nota come "Sa Marinedda". Il modo più bello per arrivarci (senza pesi al seguito...) è sicuramente percorrendo il bellissimo sentiero che parte dalla punta di Porto Alabe, circa 2,5 km a nord, e segue sempre la cresta della scogliera, con viste spettacolari sul mare sottostante. Sul promontorio che domina il lato sinistra della spiaggia c'è la torre della Columbargia (1570 circa), parte del sistema di difesa costiera predisposto dalla dominazione spagnola (Aragonese) alla fine del XVI secolo. La torre, in stato di completo abbandono, non è accessibile sia per ragioni di sicurezza (divieto di accesso posto dal Comune di Tresnuraghes nel luglio 2019) sia perché la scala che portava originariamente all'ingresso, sopraelevato, è andata distrutta.

Scenary and tranquillity will do, but it’s a hell of a walk with kids if you leave your car in a safe spot (1.8k away) where the last shade is. Not super cool for snorkelling either, rocky entry and plenty of sea urchin. Avoid unless you are after a serious sweat and peace. Bring lots of water. Tower is...
