Played in 30+ heat, plenty of trees to shade under though. Facilities are tops feels like a proper country club. The food was nice and the staff very friendly. The range had trackman and the buggies had coolers. The course was kept very well, the greens were good which makes all the difference and the fairways in good condition. The tee boxes and the bunkers need a little work if I had to be picky, didn’t affect the round though. It’s an old course so lots of short holes which makes it nice and easy to get around. Tried to play this course 20 years ago but was closed and then my hire got stuck turning round so lots of drama and no golf:Anyhow finally I got back to this course which is a great layout with some very good holes greens were fast and true. The biggest disappointment was that some of the tees were in a poor condition. With a bit more love and care this course could be exceptional. A little expensive but I have now added to my growing list course...
