I had been in the area of before but only now discovered this wonderful small museum, run by a group of local enthusiasts on a volunteer basis. The visit allowed me to learn a lot about the homeopathic work of the Count Mattei. It also made me realise the degree of destruction that Riola has suffered during WWII, not least due to its proximity to Linea Gotica. These wounds have healed but the memory remains. Un posto bellissimo da visitare. I volontari che gestiscono l'Archivio sono tutti delle persone estremamente interessanti e con moltissima passione. Questo traspare anche quando spiegano tutte le particolarità e i simbolismi nascosti che risultano estremamente affascinanti. Si rimarrebbe volentieri ad ascoltarli per ore .All'interno sono presenti un sacco di oggetti, lettere e le fiale originali con i rimedi curativi del Conte. Tappa assolutamente obbligatoria dopo aver visitato la Rocchetta per riuscire a capire a fondo tutto quello che c'è dietro questo castello misterioso. Un ringraziamento particolare a Claudio e a Raffaella per la genuinità, gentilezza e voglia di studiare, appassionarsi e trasmettere queste conoscenze. Oltre allo studio e la gestione dell'archivio organizzano anche un sacco di eventi stimolanti e originali. Consiglio in particolare i libri che vendono perché comprensibili e pieni di interpretazioni magiche sulla vita del Conte e sul suo castello, c'è davvero tantissimo ancora da scoprire ma dentro questi libri si possono trovare molti chiavi di lettura che stimolano la fantasia e la curiosità, una volta letti non potrete fare a meno di andare avanti per avere sempre più informazioni.
