Rifugio Mario Bezzi — Attraction in Valgrisenche

This is in my opinion one of the best rifugio’s there are. The hut is gigantic and beautifully constructed. It lies in a quiet and beautiful valley. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and one guy spoke such impeccable english, that for a minute I thought he was British. I don’t know if they had leftover rations, but we got a 5 course dinner, which tasted amazing and there was a lot of food. The atmosphere was amazing. They had good, free wifi, free WARM showers and amazingly comfortable beds. We also got a private room, we were with 2. One thing was that the sockets in the room did not fit our European chargers, but downstairs was a charging point with enough sockets. I think that is because it’s an old hut and it has old Italian style sockets, but I’m not sure. This hut has such good value for money. We were there during a weekend in August and it wasn’t packed like other huts. This is a hidden gem! Would stay again eagerly and also recommend...

Panorama e luogo fantastico. Rifugio caratteristico e pulito. Abbiamo pernottato una notte in questo rifugio. Cibo molto semplice: a cena è stata servita una minestra, pasta al pomodoro, arrosto e carote; colazione scarsa.L’ospitalità non è stata delle migliori. Erano disponibili diversi bagni con wc ma solo uno era aperto (quello del piano delle camere). La mattina del giorno seguente al pernotto, il bagno al piano delle camere era occupato dal personale che lo stava pulendo, e mi invitano ad andare in uno dei due bagni presente al piano di sotto. Mentre mi reco al bagno di sotto anche quello era occupato da un signore del personale che lo puliva; mi rivolgo a lui dicendo che le signore mi avevano detto di recarsi nei servizi di sotto,lui mi risponde che anche questo bagno era chiuso per pulizie e dopo qualche secondo di silenzio mi risponde scocciato:“vabbè dai ti apro l’altro” come se dovesse farmi un favore. Eravamo un gruppo di 10 persone che abbiamo alloggiato e pagato per dei servizi. Da migliorare sicuramente l’accoglienza del cliente. Amazing place in the middle of the mountains. The staff was extremely helpful and the food delicious. There are several paths that can be done from there. It's perfect if you want to spend a weekend totally disconnected from the world and in the middle of breathtaking nature. Just remember to bring your own shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc 😁 definitely...
