Castello di Filettole — Attraction in Vecchiano

The place is absolutely stunning—just gorgeous! The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms are equally impressive. The foyer, kitchen, and salon are full of beauty and history. I don’t regret staying here for a second, and I’ll always remember this place with such care.

However, the only issue was with Fabio, who helped plan our wedding. His communication was terrible; we barely heard from him until a week before the wedding. Many of the instructions and requests we made were either ignored or mishandled, and he always had an excuse. Worse, he didn’t inform us ahead of time when something we asked for wouldn’t happen—whether it was small details on the menu or something as significant as the outdoor string lighting we requested. You just marry once and he should be more responsible with this - My only real regret is choosing him, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

On the bright side, his vendors were fantastic! Sylvia and Silvana, in particular, were two angels. They took care of our breakfast and pizza night, and they’re such incredible people that I still keep in touch with them. They have my utmost admiration and truly made our trip...

We had a weeklong stay at this beautiful villa with 14-20 guests to celebrate my vow renewal, and it was an exceptional, unforgettable experience. The villa has been beautifully restored, with unique details in each room and bathroom. Pictures don't do it justice. The grounds are spacious, and we enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing tennis, and doing yoga under the olive grove.

But the best part of the villa is the people running it. Fabio is the very best, and he planned our three day wedding event himself. I was amazed by how seamlessly everything went (better than I could have imagined). It was intimate, elegant, and very classy, and we will all remember our time at this villa for the rest of our lives. The options for catered meals are wonderful as well.
