Verzegnis Lake. Originally flowing from the Ambiesta stream, it is an artificial basin created in the 1950s and is nestled between the mountains in the municipality of Verzegnis. Its location, far from any major communication routes, offers a dive into the nature and peacefulness. I read about the stunning views, but I guess that depends on the person. Personally, I wasn’t impressed. We only took a short walk around. This lake is not like the one in Cavazzo; you can’t get into the water, and it’s definitely not adapted for people with mobility problems. Throughout our visit, we could constantly hear the noise of motorcycles going up and down the mountain. We almost had an accident because some of them were speeding and encroaching into the opposite lane.

Ho visitato il lago in estate e devo dire che è un lago artificiale veramente suggestivo. Magici colori dall'azzurro al verdognolo e una bella passeggiata pianeggiante verso la diga. Noi e le nostre cagnoline, abbiamo preferito prendere il percorso nel bosco per la chiesetta che poi si snoda verso i borghetti di pusea e duebis... Abbiamo percorso parte di strada sterrata e parte di strada asfaltata, da pusea abbiamo tentato di risalire verso duebis passando per il bosco e di raggiungere la chiesetta che ci faceva da punto di riferimento per tornare a verzegnis, ma ci siamo allegramente persi per la strada segnalata dai tagliaboschi e mesti mesti siamo tornati verso pusea per risalire dalla strada carrabile. Ci siamo comunque divertiti e torneremo l'anno prossimo più motivati...
