A hidden gem of Italy! Could not recommend anywhere better for a wine tasting. The philosophy of the vineyard is all about caring for the ecosystem, and you can truly taste that care and elegance in the wine they make! Heiko, the sommelier, was such a fantastic host, giving us a true lesson in how to taste and drink wine, answering our many questions and making the experience a great laugh too! It was so lovely to be hosted by someone so passionate about what they do and made the experience all that more enjoyable. I could also not leave a review without mentioning the scenery...wow! Eine wirklich tolle Lage und zuerst haben wir uns bei unserem spontanen Besuch auch gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Allerdings hat es dann immer recht lange gedauert, bis der Herr mit dem nächsten Wein kam (zwei unabhängige Besucher auf einmal zu betreuen war wohl evtl. zu viel?), wir haben zu jedem Wein nur eine Erklärung in Papierform bekommen, er hat nur sehr kurz was dazu gesagt, und der Hammer kam, als wir die 6 Flaschen, für die wir uns entschieden hatten, bezahlten. Für die Weinprobe von 4 Weinen für 1,5 Personen (einer musste ja fahren) und ein paar Kräckern (keine Bruschetta wie auf der Internetseite aufgeführt), haben wir sage und schreibe 42 € bezahlen "dürfen"! Sowas haben wir bisher nirgendwo erlebt! Keine Info im Vorfeld, dass die Probe was kostet, auch nicht auf der Website! Wir hätten uns gewünscht vorab eine Info zu bekommen, dass die Weinprobe pro Glas etwas kostet. Der Wein hat uns geschmeckt, sonst hätten wir auch keine 6 Flaschen gekauft, jedoch liegt das ja immer im Sinne des Betrachters. Es geht hier eher ums Prinzip. Vorher eine Info und gut ist es. Abbiamo scelto questo posto per fare una degustazione di vini e passare un po' di tempo in completo relax in Toscana, ma mai mi sarei aspettato di rimanerci per 5 ore! Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti in maniera impeccabile dal giovane sommelier Heiko: un ragazzo veramente speciale, appassionato del suo lavoro, molto qualificato e con taaanta pazienza per sopportare le mie continue curiosità sul vino. Ci ha spiegato un'infinità di cose sul mondo del vino con grande maestria e ha risposto a molti dubbi/domande che portavo con me da tempo. Qualità dell'ambiente e dei vini assolutamente di alto livello con prezzi nettamente più onesti rispetto a moltissime tenute/cantine presenti nella regione. Il loro vino "Pilandra", da amante del sangiovese in purezza, è stato qualcosa di magico: odori, gusto, colori...wow! Ringrazio i proprietari per aver creato questo luogo di benessere e spero che ne facciano ancor più un tesoro nel futuro, le idee di certo non mancano. E soprattutto grazie a te, Heiko, per avermi lasciato un ricordo che non scorderò mai nella regione nativa...
