If you are travelling to Rome and have a half day free to take a special trip to the countryside this is the trip to do. First, it is cheap and and easy to take the train directly to the village. Nicoletta will give all the directions. This is a fantastic vineyard to visit. It is a small family run vineyard so very personal. The wine on top of it is fantastic. If you are a wine lover you will love the wines that are grown here in volcanic soils. Tour of the underground cave is fantastic as this is where they store and age their sparkling wine. Read moreWe´ve been a group of 12 people coming to this winery for a tasting, accompanied by a delicious lunch. Nicoletta and her family are amazing hosts. Our arrival in Rome was delayed by 2 hours, but Nicoletta was really caring and even picked us up at the closest metro station to get us to here winery. The place is mesmerizing, the guided tour was interesting and the wine and food provided was amazing. All of us felt like being hosted by a friend and we want to thank Nicoletta for welcoming us on her property. All wines, especially the sparkling ones, are totally recommendable!
