“ I recently revisited the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston, and I was pleased to see some positive changes since my last visit. Firstly, they have lowered the ticket price, making it even more accessible to visitors. Additionally, they have made some valuable additions, such as a small outdoor cafe and beverage bar, providing a convenient spot to relax and refresh after the tour. One notable enhancement is the inclusion of a well-produced film that serves as the grand finale of the house tour. This addition provides a captivating and informative experience, further immersing visitors in Bob Marley's world. It's unfortunate that photography is still not allowed inside Bob's house, but the film compensates for this restriction. However, I must note that the merchandise in the gift shop left me somewhat disappointed. Many items appeared to be of poor quality, with a noticeable lack of craftsmanship. The abundance of T-shirts and overpriced plastic items took away from the overall experience. I hope they consider sourcing higher-quality products to match the significance and legacy of Bob Marley. For those interested, there is an opportunity to visit the working Marley Family music studio, which requires separate tickets purchased at the box office adjacent to the cafe. This is an excellent addition for music enthusiasts looking to delve deeper into the Marley family's creative process. All in all, I'm glad I returned for a second visit as the Bob Marley Museum has made noteworthy improvements to enhance the overall experience. It remains a perfect way to spend a few hours when exploring Kingston and celebrating the legacy of the legendary Bob Marley."

So the Museum states they do not have a webpage, although I found a pretty official looking one that said the fees were $25. It is $30 at the door. All kinds of BS. I expect they were taking it off the top for “rewarding” our hired driver for taking us there. We did not like our shady driver, do NOT fall for visit to the marijuana farm for $10 a person. It is not part of this tour!! We felt disrespected!! They have weed (and tea) at the museum. We visited with a group of family and friends and enjoyed the experience immensely. Learned more about THE Bob Marley from the locals, heard the meanings behind many of his songs and toured his beginnings … it was not only a learning moment, but a spiritual adventure. There are steps and a hill climb for those who have mobility issues. There are multiple tourist “traps” during the tour that just comes with the tourist industry. Be prepared to tip and make purchases. Update- my daughter opened her shot glass and the bartender did an old switcharoo and gave people an ugly shot glass and not the ones they actually took the shot out of… shady and greatly unappreciated. I downgraded the stars due to this. Love Bob, not that.

When I first heard Bob Marley I was 17 years old. My boyfriend at the time placed a record on his record player, the album Uprising, and I immediately fell in love with the rhythm of Reggae and Robert Nesta Marley. His lyrics spoke to my heart, my mind, my soul. He infused his music with spirituality, love, humanitarianism, politics, freedom, the essence of life. I've listened to every album, I can sing every song from at least 8 of them. He is apart of my person as music becomes part of you. His legacy lives on in millions of people. I dreamt of coming here, that young 17 year old girl, a place where he wrote, sang, fell in love, built life long friendships, where he gave back to the community, played football, his roots. I honestly wasn't sure it was written in the stars for me but today I stood in this place where his energy and vibration still lives and thrives. I am so grateful I am who I am, that I live this life, and I have had the opportunity to be here and now, and influenced by greatness. 🇯🇲💕 "My richness is life forever" Robert Nesta Marley

This was my very first time visiting the Bob Marley Museum after driving pass it for so many years of my life. It was an incredible experience to witness first-hand not just the legend of Bob Marley, but to be in the same space as he once was. There are tons of photographs and cool art pieces to view as well, and the tour guide kept it interesting and informative all the way. They have recently opened the Marley House Dispensary which is very aesthetically pleasing and their smoke room so far is the best one I have been in locally, so for all herb enthusiasts check it out. The membership fee at the dispensary is $750 and their prices per gram range from $1,000 to $1,800 per gram. They have paraphernalia as well but they are rather expensive. There's a cafe as well for you to get some good food and of course lovely Bob Marley music all throughout. Highly recommended.

Good Day Everyone, On this visit I finally made it to the Bob Marley Museum. The museum is in Kingston it was worth the bus ride. The museum is on a main road and the building has been well preserved. There’s a restaurant and bar. Inside is where all the historical events have been captured. The home is beautiful but inside due to some of the Copy righting laws photos aren’t allowed inside the home and in many areas there are cameras inside. Our tour guide was informative and educational and a lot of laughs. Every aspect of Bob Marley’s life was recognized and respected. I won’t give all the details of the tour away but I will say it was worth the trip to Kingston reasonably priced and unforgettable. Definitely put on your to do list if in Kingston! What a GREAT TOUR! My daughter and I arrived right at 3pm on a Thursday afternoon and made it just in time for the tour at that hour. I think it was the last one of the day. I didn’t know what to expect. Would the tour be fun and interactive or full of dry facts? Our tour guide was Ricky Chaplin, the guy who we learned later played the spiritual advisor in the new Bob Marley movie. Ricky was such a good tour guide that my daughter, who usually dreads historical tours, said it was the best tour she had been a part of. Not only did we learn, but we laughed, sang, and felt inspired. Wonderful experience! P.S. Tickets were $25, and we tipped Ricky on top of that. I saw no need to book tickets on travel sites that were over $90 each.
