Went here with my church group and it took a while for us to get in, as the bus had to squeeze into an area for parking, as it seems they did not design this place for large buses to park in. Hopefully they rectify that in the future. Limited gazebos, so none was available at that time and so each person had to rent a beach chair for $500JMD...I rented an umbrella for $1000JMD as well as the sun was turned up that day. There are staff members there who install them for you once you show them your receipt from the beach rental shop. There are various snack and food shops on property, but if you wish to get food elsewhere, popular fast food restaurants are right across the street. The burger was nice and juicy, the fried chicken was crispy, but okay, could have had a bit more flavour, the hot dog was good as well and the fries were crispy. I was able to get all this for $2000JMD The water was absolutely divine; crystal clear, very buoyant and warm. The beach was clean and well kept. Awesome for swimming or just lounging around. The overall view was wonderful as you could watch the various planes landing at the airport or just stare at the calm horizon. There are some gaming areas on property, where you can play basketball and other sports. There is also various picnic spots on property, so you and your group can have a fun picnic there, but just know the beach chairs are only for the beach area, so carry a chair if needed. The restrooms and changing areas were decent, but do expect wet floors as most persons are straight out of the water, so there was a mixture of sand and water on the floors. There was no soap available in the soap dispensers. Overall it was a pretty good experience and may try again in the future.

This place is a gem! The water is clean and gets deep enough for a great swim. If you like waves at the beach, this beach isn't that great because the water is calm, but many people like that. The beach is free, but you have to pay for parking ($700 for the full day when I went there) and they have beach chairs ($500 for the day when I went) and umbrellas (it was overcast so we didn't need one) available for rental. It's quite inconvenient to rent the chairs and umbrellas though because you have to walk ALL THE WAY to the UDC's building at the edge of the park to pay, get a receipt and then walk back to the beach to collect the chair (which the workers place at your desired location for you). There's an inflatable adventure course that you can pay to do that looks like a lot of fun. There is also a company at the edge of the park at offers boat rides, and probably other water sports if you're interested in that. There's also ample grass space (in case you want to have a picnic or read under a tree), lots of strategically placed park benches, two playgrounds for children, a jogging track, a tennis court and a basketball court. This place was really really nice and very well maintained. I'll definitely be returning here.

The most beautiful and well kept beach park I have ever been to. There are many shops around that offer, drinks, food and snacks, along with a whole Devon house ice cream store. The bathrooms are very clean and in immaculate condition and There are showers outside. We could see employees actively cleaning all areas of the premises as the day progressed. We visited quite a few times and the atmosphere was the same with the exception of a few closed shops at random. The security guards were very friendly and actively engaged with the beach goers. Across the street is one of the busiest KFC I’ve seen in all my years in Jamaica, and that the only thing you can smell on the beach. Parking is $200 per hour, sometimes, as we rarely see someone collecting fees. The beach has a bounce house but we didn’t partake in it. You can see different cruise ships passing by and the view is even better at night. The beach is closed at night but the park is open until late. This park is easily accessible and close to almost any shopping area.

The place is lovely, spacious, seating everywhere and wash stations at every corner with adequate restroom facilities. It is clean and well kept. The beach is beautiful with fun activities for kids including water slides and obstacle courses. There are many options for food and refreshments so you don't have to leave the park for anything. There are kiddies play areas fenced for security and peace of mind, gazebos for special occasions too. We happened to be there while they were hosting 2 baby showers and a birthday party and none interfered with the other. There are areas where you can lounge on your blanket in the grace for a picnic or on the beach beds on the sand while you watch the planes land or the water sport activities nearby or just take a nap. It felt secure and open to all ages. Will definitely be visiting more often. A welcome addition to the city. I love it.

The beach itself is lovely and clean, however, the attraction Fun Factor is basically a death trap. Price is 1000jmd for children and 1500 jmd for adults. ALL DAY play. While on there, I watched lifeguards sit and not pay attention to people calling for help. One individual even took his lifeguard shirt off and said “if the shirt isn’t on, then he’s not responsible”. Like what the hell???Also, members of my group got many cuts from the edges. Rules state it’s allowed for ages 4 and above. Even with adult supervision that age range is far too wide. The equipment is way too far out in the deep water for there to be an enjoyable experience for all participants. Would not recommend going here and doing this. The beach is lovely and staff are nice and welcoming otherwise.

Beautiful park and beach, it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It also has a running path which is quite nice. Sometimes the tide brings in random junk, but it’s a government beach. It’s amazing for a free beach. There are a bunch of shady spots under trees so that you can take a break from the sun. They also rent out beach chairs, about $200 JMD, you have to ask the lifeguard for them. There is also an outdoor shower so you can rinse off the sand when you are done for the day. There is also a public restroom that is kept in order, one of the cleaning pubic bathrooms that I have ever seen. For food, downtown MoBay is a 5 minute walk and there is also a KFC right across from the entrance.
