Difficult to get in but the scenery looks great. There is a paved road after 180 main road turn (arriving from Ocho Rios) right at the bus stop so do not use the bumpy muddy road showed on google maps or the back road from fish sanctuary. Once you arrive you will see the locked gate but if you are lucky you might be able to talk to someone to let you in for a fee of course. Fee varies significantly and better to have Jamaican dollars as guys had very wrong rate towards US$. They wanted 2.000 JMD for snorkelling but just entry to look around is much cheaper (500). They couldn’t calculate properly the conversion as they struggled with their calculator and english too. According to them first they wanted 150 US$ then 50 then 30 and in the end even hands and legs were unable to help but the jamaican paper on the...

it was closed..since covid apparently. the road there was over grown and terrible. very sad. it's all very run down now. I am told that Chris Blackwell us selling up...so nothing going on. Fire Fly is all boarded up also..and building in poor condition. tragic. Good ol jamaica...let it mash up! but Fire Fly garden and view is astounding. so worth a visit all the same. the care taker is a pleasant man and will offer a little history and expects a little fee . Captain Morgan building is simple and fascinating. A simple bar is there, so one can gave a drink, or 2 or 3. Worth a visit..but shame on Jamaica to let this national treasure fall into disrepair. If u don't know, this was Noel Cowards home..fascinating if u see the...

The beach has changing rooms, showers, a bar, restaurant, large grassy field for playing volleyball and football, deckchairs on the sand for guests and catchy music playing. Carry your own ball. Admission seems reasonable enough although the beach is small and I felt the guards at the gate aren't trained in handling crowds because we waited for nearly 15 minutes before they could sort out 20 people which I found ridiculous. The restaurant was terribly overpriced too and the fish wasn't fresh. At least the beach was very beautiful...

This was my first time at the beach and I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely beach and park; especially since the road in was so bad. The park itself is quite nicely maintained and the restaurant and bar were very nice. We found the food at the restaurant was quite exceptional but a bit on the expensive side. I would definitely come here again.
