I'm not sure if it was because it was a Wednesday that we visited, why this beach wasn't crowded. It was pretty empty, with just about a dozen other persons, enjoying the really warm and inviting water. The water felt like a spa... really great!! Parking on the outside of the premises was easy. However, loads of parking are also available on the inside. There is a JMD$100.00 fee for the use of the toilet facility and changing rooms. These facilities need URGENT upgrading, though. Take your own toiletries if you do not wish to be inconvenienced. The toilets do flush, and there was water to wash hands after use. This is not always the case with most public toilets. There didn't seem to be any upgrades since the place opened "donkey" years ago. One is also not able to make any purchases on the inside as these facilities are in disrepair and closed. The premises are well kept with beautiful flowers and trees. It has two (2) wash off showers on the outside (that works). If you didn't take your own food and drinks, vendors are on the outside selling jerk chicken and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
