I'm very disappointed to see that after the government spent millions of dollars to renovate this beach and put in new facilities that the same government ministry is allowing the facilities to run down the way it is now. The Trelawny Parish council is doing a very poor job of maintaining the area. The grounds person is not actively carrying out his duties and the bathrooms are flooded because a main pipe is broken and remains unfixed flooding both outside and inside. #Trelawnyparishcouncil do better! #Jamaicapride...

This time around the beach was full of debris from the sea, the once beautiful hut like umbrellas had deteriorated and garbage was scattered along the beach. It's free for locals with ID and it's $800 for each non resident adult. That's too much for what you're getting. The washrooms were not kept and barely any food around. But the water itself wasn't bad, we had fun jumping the waves when they came...
   Read moreExcellent beach, the atmosphere is quite serene and it's good for family, friends, trips and other social gatherings. Nice place to have a little beach football or volleyball or take a sea stroll on one of the passer by horses. One thing though more care measures need to be put in place where the beach is concern; it needs monitoring and constant clean up of the sea weeds etc in order for it to look more attractive. #burwood beach...
