Every time I visit this beach it gets worst. This time around the beach was full of debris from the sea, the once beautiful hut like umbrellas had deteriorated and garbage was scattered along the beach. It's free for locals with ID and it's $800 for each non resident adult. That's too much for what you're getting. The washrooms were not kept and barely any food around. But the water itself wasn't bad, we had fun jumping the waves when they came crashing to shore.

JMD 750 USD 5 Entry fee for non-residents. JMD 700 for sunbed hire. Lovely beach, white sand and clean. Great for swimming, especially if you have smaller children as the water is pretty shallow. There is a lifeguard, changing rooms are monitored and kept pretty clean. A charming little place, so add it to your activity list when you're in or passing through Trelawny.

Awesome public beach, has some amenities, a working restroom, a gazebo, beautiful beach, locals are free, there is a small chance for tourists but still good for a day out, very clean, volleyball net present, there was beach football being played, parking available, vendors on the outside, good location. You'll enjoy it!

I'm very disappointed to see that after the government spent millions of dollars to renovate this beach and put in new facilities that the same government ministry is allowing the facilities to run down the way it is now. The Trelawny Parish council is doing a very poor job of maintaining the area. The grounds person is not actively carrying out his duties and the bathrooms are flooded because a main pipe is broken and remains unfixed flooding both outside and inside. #Trelawnyparishcouncil do better! #Jamaicapride...

Excellent beach, the atmosphere is quite serene and it's good for family, friends, trips and other social gatherings. Nice place to have a little beach football or volleyball or take a sea stroll on one of the passer by horses. One thing though more care measures need to be put in place where the beach is concern; it needs monitoring and constant clean up of the sea weeds etc in order for it to look more attractive. #burwood beach...
