Incredible experience. We drove down to the end of Roadside Rd. Tricky with the large potholes but manageable. A guide came out to meet our car. He led us down the trail which goes through the back of his property. He has also built handrails in the more difficult areas which were very helpful. It's about a 20 minute hike down to the falls. He carefully guided us every step of the way and showed us interesting plants along the path. It was a workout but as a mid-50s woman who's not into any extreme activities, totally doable. And absolutely worth it. Me and my family spent time at the gorgeous fully flowing falls, as our guide waited for us. We were the only ones there, it was extraordinary. The climb back up felt less treacherous than going down but required more effort to hoist up. Regardless worth every step. At the top our guide gave us ripe June plums from his garden, we paid him $3000 Jamaican dollars. Directly supporting locals! Plus memories that we will cherish forever. This was...

Like Kwami Falls, Tacky Falls is a seasonal waterfall, so it isn't always running like what you see there.

It's really more of a scenic waterfall tho. For there is no swimming area. The water flowin down was dirty at the time, so I didn't go under it.

The hike to get to it is roughly 25 minutes, I think. I didn't use a guide, so I kinda snopped around for the trail. The trail gets a bit challenging when you arrive at the downhill section.

They have some wooden rails alone that section, so it makes it a little easier to traverse.

The falls is worth some nice shots, when it's...

Great waterfall for people interested in hiking and off the beaten path spots. 100% uncommercialized. Just get to Islington and follow the road to Zion Hill United Church, park and ask about in the square for a guide. Someone will definitely be able to help. The hike is only about 20 minutes long but there are no signs and virtually no trail so you'll need the help. Don't let the short duration fool you though. It's very physically demanding, you'll need both hands and feet but it's...
