We enjoyed our Kayak trip with our guide, Duane. Duane was a great guide. Thoughtful and helpful when needed. The river was crystal clear and cool and had a good current requiring minimal paddling. The water level made the rapids fun and easily managed. Really enjoyed the independence of the kayaks rather than rafting together on tubes. There were places to stop and swim both in the river and on the beach where the river meets the ocean. I highly recommend this very professional adventure. The bus ride to the river was safe, our personal belongings were stored on the bus while we were on the river. The facilities on both ends had clean bathrooms to use and a fresh water shower to rinse off the salt water was on the beach. While on the beach, regional snacks were available to purchase. A great day!!

Get ready for a trip off the beaten track. Sanitizer offered upon arrival. Paid $4500 adult $2500 for children it's a special going on now. Fitted with your gear - helmet and life jacket. Options available to purchase water shoes and waterproof pouch for your phone etc. Leave all other valuables etc in vehicles. There is a trek to the start (with your tube) where there are also 2 "falls" where you can swim and slide in. Then the journey starts with each person holding on to the other's tube. The journey along the river was soooooooo relaxing and cooling for the hot day. Brief stop to jump off a platform. Continue on the beach where you are taken back to the initial point via road in an open back van.( apparently it was not a busy day as there is usually a bus)

Much overlooked but truly a place to go for anyone seeking relaxation with a bit of adventure. There were no car machines but we brought cash . We were strapped with helmets and a life jacket. The first adventure was going to the waterfall. Ensure to bring comfortable shoes. Then we used our donut shaped floater to go along the Rio Bueno as a team. Looking up was breathtaking. The river had a few rough patches that created a bit of splash . Then we jumped off the pier (me multiple times ;)) and then we kayaked it from the rest of the river to Bengal Beach. That involved some serious teamwork but it was fun with our tour guide Ben. We then ended the trip with food (hot dogs). It is a truly fun adventure for groups . I would definitely recommend.

Such fun and so gorgeous!

Tl; dr: We had a great time, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Lifeguard Mark was our guide, he was engaging and fun, while being professional and very knowledgeable. I do guide work myself, and I was impressed with him. The walk through the forest to the entry point is short, easy, and very beautiful; I've never seen bamboo so large anywhere in my life! Mark cracked open some raw almonds for us to taste, very cool.

The river was great, just enough bounce and splash to be fun without tossing us around; and the scenery is gorgeous! At the part where you can do the jump into the water is a good time to trade sides with your seatmate if you're rafting, otherwise one arm will be sore, lol!

The paddling takes a little more work once it flattens out, but you have more time to look around. The float ends on a pretty beach where we saw different kinds of birds, very nice. If you do the jump into the water, leave a towel and dry clothes in the tour van or you might freeze in the air conditioning on the ride back to town, eek!

Thank you for a great experience, Mark! Inner love for your...

I had a great time on the river and the activities we did. My 1 star review is for the deceptive practices this establishment uses to price gouge the tourist from the cruise ships. I decided to do this tour independently with a large group (not from the cruise). I negotiated and agreed to a price over the phone that i quickly researched from the cruise ship port. Short while later the tour bus came and picked us up and drove to the location which is about 35 minutes away from the port. Once we reached the establishment, I realized that the actual ticket prices were cheaper, especially for children and they refused to honor the cheaper prices. I was forced to pay hundreds of dollars that i could have saved had i known the actual ticket prices and transportation. I felt cheated and they had me cornered knowing that i could not simply walk away. It was not a pleasant interaction with the staff. Bottom line.. This establishment prays upon the tourist and practices...

If you are looking for something fun to do in Jamaica, the river rapids Jamaica took good care of us during our excursion. The company really goes out of their way to make you feel safe. When Dwayne arrived, he came into the lobby to get us, he walked over to the bell hop checked us out with our names, the name of the company and where we were going to. When we got to the excursion, the driver walked us to check in and stayed there until we were out of sight with a tour guide assigned. After our tube trip he met us on the beach and welcomed us to change and get comfortable before heading back. It was nice to just kick back and leave it to them to ensure a safe experience. The guide on the Rio Bueno was great, made for a lovely afternoon! Shout out to our Chicago friends that helped to make the...
