We went here the morning of our departure from Amami, enjoyed a pleasant walk through the forest before arriving at a beautiful grassy cape. The path was well maintained (there was a maintenance worker mowing the grass beside the path when we were there), and there was a biotoilet at the cape.
There seemed to be rabbit droppings at some points on the path, so if you're lucky you may get to spot one.

Near to the end of the cape, there are two divulging paths where both are worth to explore, one goes to the tip whole the other goes to the side where you can even walk down to the rocks.
