Miyakozaki — Attraction in Amami

We went here the morning of our departure from Amami, enjoyed a pleasant walk through the forest before arriving at a beautiful grassy cape. The path was well maintained (there was a maintenance worker mowing the grass beside the path when we were there), and there was a biotoilet at the cape.

There seemed to be rabbit droppings at some points on the path, so if you're lucky you may get to spot one.

A fantastic cape walk, the best cape to explore in Amami on a good day! Near to the end of the cape, there are two divulging paths where both are worth to explore, one goes to the tip whole the other goes to the side where you can even walk down to the rocks. Do be careful as the tides are strong in this area. Grasses can be pretty overgrown and seems like it's a popular spot with the Amami rabbits as we spotted lots...

It’s a MUST GO on Amami! Absolutely breathtaking. Try to go when it’s sunny out! Still cool when it’s cloudy but nothing compares to a sunny day at Miyakozaki. The sunset views are 🔥🔥 so be sure to stay till then. Bring your walking shoes bc it’s a bit of a hike to get there (about 1400m).
