朝日町の歴史が学べる博物館です。無料で利用出来ます。広い駐車場もあります。近くに柿城跡や縄生廃寺跡があり、この駐車場に停めて歩いて回るのが良いと思います。

それほど大きな展示施設ではありませんが朝日町の歴史をコンパクトに纏めて紹介しています。これを見ると、朝日町は壬申の乱とも関係があったり、古代寺院の縄生（なお）廃寺があったり、戦国時代の城・柿城跡があったり、東海道が通っていたりと結構歴史のある町だということがよく分かります。また橘守部、栗田真秀、水谷立仙、森有節といった地元出身の文化人や森有節が再興した有節萬古も展示されていてなかなか興味深いです。しかし残念なことは館内の写真撮影が禁止ということです。また展示解説シートが一枚あるだけでパンフレットもありません。 せっかく良い内容なのだからそれらの点は改...
