Family friendly with a snow escalator for learning and very close to Asahikawa jr station by car. There is a free hill to learn and practice as well. This resort is not very big. There's a small cafe, big rest area, and ski school. We paid about 5000 yen for a full adult rental package (goggles, helmet, pants, jacket, shoes, and board), and 3000 for child set (no jacket and pants) for 2 hours. 5 hours would be 500 yen more and you can add it on if you stay longer. It's the same price. We paid 2150 yen for a half day ticket. Night time ticket from 4 - 9pm is extra. Also, the bunny hill escalator is 1300 yen and not included with the regular lift ticket. We just went with the regular halfday lift ticket and learned on the regular slope. Staff is very friendly with some...

Very good ski resort with very friendly employees. My first time ever snowboarding, and it was very fun! We tried the small free slope first and later snowboarded on a higher hill, which was a great experience!
