Kawanaka Natural Park — Attraction in Aya

I think this might be the best place to camp in all of Kyushu. It is very rural. NO PEOPLE. NO LIGHTS. Just you and nature. There is lots of firewood so you can make a nice campfire. There is also a nice river nearby, and if you walk up there river there is a freshwater spring you can fill up water bottles at. The campground's bathroom works now, though it didn't before. Pipes may occasionally break in the winter.

This is one of the few places like you can camp and feel like you are not close to any civilization. It's like...

• Great [wild] swimming. • Seemingly abandoned campsite that looks very good, in a meadow, in a vally, with a fantastic river below. • Abundant wildlife! (not for the squeamish) • Don't bother walking to the shrine - just not worth it when you get there, but you may be covered in leeches, wasps...

綾町からは県道26号線を走り、綾の大吊橋 から更に先に進んだ場所にあります。

昔は管理されたキャンプ場として使われ ていたようですが、現在施設はしっかりと 管理されておらず、トイレの水道が止まっ てます。

なので、飲み水とトイレを流す用に水を 持参するか、川で汲めるようにポリタンク を準備していった方が良いです。 トイレットペーパーも持参必須です。

昼間はほぼ通行時間規制がかかっていますが、土日は大丈夫そうでした。

一番近いスーパーがAコープ綾店でそこから 13km先にあります。

トイレの水道が止まっているので、女性や ファミリー向けでは無いと思いますが、 料金が無料かつ予約不要なので急に思いた って行ける所が良いです。

携帯の電波も全く通じない場所なので、 ゆっくりと時間を過ごす為の準備をして 行くとより楽しめると思います。
