Kijima Kogen Park — Attraction in Beppu

A very nice theme park which you will definitely pay a visit again. Many attractions and you can spend a whole days with your family especially for young kids The driving test is so impressive, my kids enjoyed a lot and they finally got the driving license. Some attractions have to pay but it is worth paying that, the treasure hunt is a good game for kids. Water park is also excellent and many facilities there, it is a cool period for kids especially after playing a whole day in summer. Some little game like the fun shooting and ball shooting to win a prize are also funny. You have to pay for that but you will eventually get some prize even you don’t win. Restaurants there are nice and you have many different choice such as bbq buffet, hotdog, hamburger, etc... photo taking staff are very professional and they always captured the best moment for you. This park is not that bad in general, lots of the activities there are really enjoyable. Theres not much people there if its not in the weekends too. Most of the staff looks happy doing there jobs, but not all of them.

So heres my advice: Buy the activity pass. This pass allows you to ride and play most of the activities. (Not all but most of the activities.) You can repeat most of the activities too, so its rlly nice in general.

Repeat lots of the activities you like. This park doesnt have lots of variety of activities, so maybe try as much as activities first and repeat the activities you liked the most.

The seats of jupiter coaster are uncomfortable. However you can survive.

Most of rides requires minimum of 120cm. There are some few rides for kids lower than 120cm but very boring.

A few attractions allow childrens lower than 120cm if accompanied with adult.

The 3D theater is very cool. No size or age restrictions. The waiting time worth it.

Gold rush coaster is very slow and boring, even for kids. The tracks are all rust and dated.

Pirates shooting is boring and finish fast. The thing goes too fast.

All others attractions are ok, nothing to complain.
