Can never go wrong with this place. It's a nice getaway. Nice place to walk around. You can actually look over the edge of the waterfall if you're daring enough. You can climb around the base of the waterfall too. Nice scenery. Seems like it is becoming crowded with more tourists the past couple of years though. The buildings nearby are okay. The main building has refreshing ice cream, and they have a restaurant inside too. Toilets are a bit dated but usable.

It also carried a nickname “ miniature Niagara Falls of Japan ‘“ due to its horseshoe shape . There’s a suspension bridge near by where you can watch the full view of the waterfall. The location is actually also rather out of the way, so unless this is on the way to your next destination, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it.
