Fuefuki City Yatsushiro Furusato Park — Attraction in Fuefuki

Located in Yamanashi Prefecture's Fuefuki City, it is one of Japan's leading producers of peaches and grapes.

A park situated in hills near where the Misaka Mountains and the Kofu Basin intersect gives you a panoramic view of the Southern Alps and the Kofu basin. In the park, there are Tumulus Square, Sakura no Mori, and Parent-Child Square, where both parents and children can have a good time.

The park's unique feature is Linear View Hill Observatory. Viewing the Linear Chuo Shinkansen test track is possible through the observation deck located right next to the park.

The park is popular among the locals. While it is still little-known to overseas tourists and residents outside the prefecture.

Visiting this park during the cherry and peach flowering period is the ideal time. Although this place can be visited anytime, it is the best place for those who enjoy quiet...

Good place to get out with kids. That way adults can also enjoy the polished concrete slide :-P. Little higher in elevation so there's usually a nice light breeze and the air is not as stale as down in the valley. Koi pond down the bottom to hop around and large grassed area up the top...

笛吹市の小高い丘にある眺望に優れた素晴らしい公園。ここからは甲府盆地越しに数々の名山を俯瞰することができ、山と📷️好きにはたまらないロケーションが広がっています。

最も目を引くのは南アルプスの白峰三山、鳳凰山、甲斐駒ヶ岳の連なりで、残雪で白く輝く姿はとても神々しいです。 また、遥か前方には長野の富士見パノラマスキー場のコースや、北アルプスの槍・穂高連邦まで確認することができました。

春の桜の名所として有名で桜だけでも十分見応えはあるものの、加えて開花のタイミングが合えば眼下に広がる桃の花との共演を楽しむことができ、正に桃源郷です🌸 この景色を一度見てしまうと桜だけのお花見では物足りなくなるので、毎年わざわざ春は山梨までお花見に訪れてしまいます。

更には目の前にはリニアの試験コースが通っているため、一定間隔で走行する姿も楽しむことができます。 山、甲府盆地、桜、桃の花、リニアモーターとどれも主役級の被写体のオンパレードで、シャッターを押す手が止まらなくなります🤭

公園としてもとても綺麗に整備されており、🅿️とトイレもあるので安心です。 また、少ないながらも遊具もあり、滑り台は子供に大人気で皆延々と滑り続けていました😀

お薦めの季節はやはり春で、毎年桃源郷春祭りの期間(３月下旬～４月上旬)には公園内に小規模ながら出店があり、好きな場所にシートを敷いてのお花見を楽しむことができます。 コロナ禍ではシートを敷いてのお花見が禁止となっている名所が多いため、とても貴重な場所だと感じます。また、公園の敷地が広いため人が多くても広々として密な感じは皆無でした。

これだけ素晴らしい場所ですが、お祭り期間中も🅿️、入園料共に無料なのが信じられません。(というか多少は徴収しても誰も文句は言わないと思いますが。。)
