16th June 2024: A very memorable experience. May not be suitable for everyone as it requires strength and not afraid of confined spaces. You need a good pair of shoes as it’s very cold and slippery. Lots of stairs to climb and very narrow place to navigate. Overall it’s dark in the cave and at certain location it’s only 90cm clearance to walk through. Temperature drops to 0 degrees in the cave. It’s a 10-15 mins walk in the cave. You can see ice which is a heritage monument from hundreds years ago. It’s an experience that you may not forget. So go for it if you can!

⭐️ The environment around the wind cave is very beautiful. The cave looks very nice and is generally safe. Even a small child can go safely. The ticket price was ¥350. When we went, there was a long queue, but we were able to buy tickets quickly and go inside. We were in the queue for 10–20 minutes. There was a parking lot. It is free So don't worry about parking if you go in your vehicle. Overall, it can be said that it is a good place to visit. There was Not much ice the time of the year we went, August. There wasn't any real stalagmites or stalagcites to see and there wasn't ANY wind blowing through the cave as one might expect, maybe you'll have Better luck on the day you visit. If you HAD to pick a cave in the area, the "Ice Cave" is the Better of the two there so see this one instead. The moss forest is nice to see outside of "Wind Cave" if you're into such greenery, which is pretty. Overall, the experience was alright. ENJOY!

Great alternative to the better-known Ice cave which is also nearby. (Illustration of the difference attached in the uploaded photo) Going down is like descending into a freezer of sorts, where you will find Ice formations in some areas and silk worm storage / breeding in the end. Take note that in some parts the cave is a mere 120+ cm tall. From the bus stop to the entrance of the cave is a mere 5 minutes, and the cave itself will only take about 10-15mins of exploring.

Just a small cave 200m max with an entrance fee of 350 without discount, 300 with discount which you can get from other stores nearby. Do take the helmet it's free as the inside of the cave is cold and slippary with low heights where you will have to squat and walk. Not much to see except for the ice formations. Do try the corn ice cream, it's refreshing. Small trek to the cave is good with lot of greenery. Visit the lakes first which are more scenic than the caves.

Interesting little cave to check out the wonders of mother nature. Best period to visit is spring, where ice forms. Went in Nov, so its just cold and wet. Good to wear helmet and shoes. Avoid carrying big bag. Possible to walk to Ice cave at 1.4km awat. Or drive which is 2min away. Visit only if you are in the area. Else not worth the effort. Time duration in cave only about 5min. Entrance fee 350yen per pax. Discount of 50yen if you have thw fuji pass.
