Early Nov 2025: medium size shop selling local stuffs and some warm food. It is close to two main lakes. Parking 500 jpy per entry- paid when u leave the car park.

奥に有料駐車場もあるのですが、こちらは無料でトイレも利用できます。 時間と体力に余裕があれば、ここから青池まで往復1時間程度で散策できます。24年の10月31日時点では紅葉がピークでした。 この低標高でブナの紅葉を楽しめるのはさすが北東北。さらに秋ならではのカツラのあの香ばしい香り。北方の植生が癒してくれます。 基本的にはスニーカーでいいですが、林内を歩くのであればできたら軽登山靴が理想。またヤマップもあると地図が読めて便利かと！ 青池はかなり条件がよくないと青くないのであまり過度な期待はしないように。あと大型バスも入ってきたり、中華系団体もそれなりに平日でもいるので、そこは覚悟してください。
