Goro’s Stone House — Attraction in Furano

I did not know the classic drama “From the Northern Country” which had aired a few seasons until Tanaka, Kunie, who is the model of Kizaru or Yellow Monkey, one of the three top marine generals in One Piece manga, passed away. It aired from 1981 to 2002 sporadically. Even without any knowledge or information, I was saddened when I found that the drama was showing the actors’ life from 5-10 year old to their marriage and so on. It shows their lives! Hidden gem of Furano. Visited this beautiful place in the middle of April. There were no tourist crowd and we have the whole place to ourselves! The counter service man was really really nice and friendly. This place consists of 3 different location. Stunning stone house. Probably built for TV filming. This place can be reached by the parking lot. Pay and enter through the hut beside the toilet.
