I did not know the classic drama “From the Northern Country” which had aired a few seasons until Tanaka, Kunie, who is the model of Kizaru or Yellow Monkey, one of the three top marine generals in One Piece manga, passed away. It aired from 1981 to 2002 sporadically. Even without any knowledge or information, I was saddened when I found that the drama was showing the actors’ life from 5-10 year old to their marriage and so on. It shows their lives! There are thee buildings actually built by Tanaka, Kunie himself. They were cozy and warm. It gave me an idea what kind of house I want to have when I retired.

Hidden gem of Furano. Visited this beautiful place in the middle of April. There were no tourist crowd and we have the whole place to ourselves! The counter service man was really really nice and friendly. This place consists of 3 different location. You have to travel either by foot (15mins walk) or by car (5mins drive) to the next drama location. Recommend people to visit this place to support them!

Goro Stone House is located near the Furano Jam Garden and Anpanman Shop. Go only if you intend to visit the Furano Jam Garden. Ticket entrance to Goro Stone House is ¥500 (or ¥1,200 if you also want to see the Recycled House TV Drama and Goro Log Cabin as well).

This is a great place to come for photos on a fine day. Other than that, unless you’re familiar with the history of this place and it’s films, it’s not probably gonna impress. But who knows?

五郎の石の家☆ 私の趣味で撮ってます☆ もう少しお願いします(__) 遺言書・・・表現して欲しい・・・ やはりまだ開館してませんでした ニュースで言ってましたからダメだと 思いつつ・・・ でも早めに開けるみたいですね 此処で献花台を設けるみたいです (町のドラマ館の方にはあるようです) 門から少し撮ってみました 五郎さんが乗っていたトラックが見えました。 しつこい写真ですが本当に好きなので♪ 日にちがあまりないので 我慢できなく五郎さんに献花してきました 是非、私の地元のお花と言う事で 花屋さんに行って作ってもらいました やはり沢山のファンが来てまして 順番を待って記帳しお参りしてきましたよ 少しは五郎さんに私の心が届いたかなって 思い満足しましたが献花台の写真が ちょっとピンボケ模様・・・(__) ま雰囲気だけでもこんな感じでした 何か張り紙に個人で写真撮るの良いですが ネットとかに上げたらダメって書いてあるので 関係者の方に聞いてみましたら全然okだよだって 昔はそう言う事言ってましたが今は無理でしょう だから良いですよって言うことで安心してupします 以前無かったような気がして「一番最初の家」が 復元されてました 写真が懐かしい・・・☆

かなり前の春に来たときはまだ冬季閉鎖中で見学できませんでした。 今回やっと機会に恵まれて行ってきました。 ドラマが終了してから長い年月が経っていますが、富良野にかつてあった北の国から資料館はとうの昔に閉館になったというのに、 こちらは今でも一般公開されているのがちょっと驚きました。 駐車場からすぐ近くに家があると思いきや、意外にも丘を200〜300メートルくらい登らなくてはならないのですね。熊が出そうで登る時怖かった。 やっと見えてきた石の家はドラマで観た光景そのもので感動しました。 風車も回ってるしきちんとメンテされているん だなぁ。 建物に入ると多数の展示物がありますが、この家はドラマのセットですので、当たり前なんですけど人が快適に住める造りにはなっていません。 断熱材一切無し、壁は隙間だらけでこれじゃ雨や風、雪が侵入してきて五郎さん冬ヤバすぎだろと思ってしまった笑 壁に掛けてあった五郎さんの上着に黒板の刺繍を見つけて何か込み上げるものが。 というのも根室落石ロケの際、撮影の合間に五郎さんと記念撮影した事があったのでその時の事を思い出してしまいました。
