I went there in the second week of June 2023 after a visit to the anpanman shop. It was close to sunset. But it was still windy and chilly. There were regrettably no more flowers. But I had an enjoyable time there with no one else around. Snacking on Hokkaido chips while admiring...

Free, small, flower viewing area right by the Anpanman Shop. It’s usually not very crowded as tour busses can’t access the platform. Be careful if traveling by motorcycle as the 1-way road is not paved and difficult...

Visited on 8 October 2025. Although it’s a bit of a drive from Furano, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the right season for the flowers to bloom, but I was lucky enough to spot a wild deer in the forest!

Lovely little viewing platform but not quite so scenic if you've just missed the lavender and flower blooms as we had arriving on 11th August. But if you're nearby its worth a visit for the quiet stillness and butterflies.

Visited 25 June 2025. Only lupines and peonies. Lavender not blooming yet. It was gravel road leading this place. Currently, not what it looks like in the poster. Maybe a couple more weeks. 2km from Jam Garden.
