If you like oranges, those Mandarin oranges, you will surely love this place. This place is our very first visited attraction after touching down in Nagoya. About slightly over an hour drive from the Chubu Airport, we came here for fruit picking that is oranges that are in season. Admission fee was 1000-1100yen and we could freely eat as many oranges in the park as we want and also fill up a plastic bag of oranges and take home. We had fruit picked before but first time with oranges. Love the fragrance of the fruits! But be careful when you walk through the farm, there were lots of rotten oranges on the ground with insects around. It will be good if they can provide a pair of scissors to cut the oranges instead of plucking them that may harm the trees and causing wastage due to the falling of the oranges! The farm was huge with hundreds of orange trees, mostly fruiting and we ate to our heart's content. It was awesome! And the oranges were very juicy and sweet, freshly plucked from the trees! Afterwhich, we dropped by at the retail store next door to enjoy our free ice cream. It was so creamy and flavourful! And visitors can also pickup a great number of orange related items like orange jam or candies, pastries and other types of food items. And you can also have a meal in the cafeteria on the upper floor where they serve good local dishes too. It was a fun and interesting activity!

From February to beginning of May you can go to this Orange park and pay for a ticket to pluck and eat strawberries for 30mins. Eating ripe strawberries is an experience, it’s feels like the fruit just turn into liquid in your mouth. If you do not drive, it’s not easy to go to this place from Gamagori station. You need to pay about $1800 yen for a taxi to go from Gamagori station to the Orange park. It takes about 45mins to walk 3.2km from the Gamagori station to the Orange park. At other times, you can go to the Orange park to pluck oranges.

Had the orange picking with seafood buffet. Worth the price for the unlimited scallops and oysters!! The building is quite dull, outdated, and depressing(looks more like a factory from the outside) but the overall experience was satisfactory. It was a fun activity. The picking spot changes and is not within the premises but there is a carpool that will send you off and pick you up.

Hello everyone in the world. "Konnichiwa"

Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture, located in the center of Japan, is suitable for mandarin orange cultivation because it is a warm land facing the sea. It is a mandarin orange field all over the mountain surface. It is often cultivated in greenhouses, and in the most expensive summer, it costs more than 300 yen per piece. It's also interesting to come to Japan and see the farming villages.
