A small hill full of hydrangeas in full bloom—absolutely gorgeous! Seeing these flowers in different varieties is so refreshing. Their perfect details make them look like they were intricately drawn or crafted.
The place was a bit crowded, though that might be because I went on a Sunday.
Access was quite challenging since Google Maps didn’t suggest a bus to the nearest stop, so I had to walk all the way up. Plus, it was super hot and humid. But luckily, on my way down, I found a bus going straight to Gamagori Station. Google Maps doesn’t seem to have that updated, probably because the bus only runs during hydrangea season.

Read more何年ぶり or it's been 30yrs since i last saw a firefly. im glad that my son was able to experience seeing these incredible insects light up the forest for the first time. fireflies are extremely sensitive to light pollution and artificial light at night so please stop flashing light when you go for watching them. many people have fond memories of chasing lightning bugs when they were a kid and i wish these insects thrive so that the future generations can still enjoy this...
