This is our go to rest stop whenever the family goes road tripping around the island. It’s large not packed like some of the other parks, has great bathrooms, and is dog friendly as long your pets are on a leash and you pick up any mess they make.
The park itself doesn’t have any play structures for kids to play on but does have plenty of walking paths. On the park side there’s a small trail that takes you to a small marsh where you can observe birds and even walk through the marsh on top of a raised walkway. On the dam side you can walk on top of the dam, where there’s an amazing view of the dam reservoir, and if you don’t mind stairs, you can walk down to the bottom of the dam where there is smaller nature park with a small mangrove, and continue back up the dam on the other side.
I really do recommend making a trip here, it a nice peaceful spot for an easy and relaxing time, Ginoza village is also very relaxing and always has something interesting to offer. Not far from the dam is the Ginoza farmers market which has a huge playground and small pool, I’ll write a separate review on that but it’s worth a mention here.
