森山を登るついでに寄ってみました。 冬季間は閉鎖中なので立ち入ることは出来ませんでしたがとてもいい眺めを見る事ができました。 I stopped by while climbing Moriyama. It was closed during the winter, so I couldn't enter, but I could see a very nice view.

ずっと気になってたため行ってみました。 着いてみるとなんと入館料無料とのことでびっくりでした。 木材や工芸品、野生動物などの剥製展示もあり、係員の男性も親切に説明してくださいました。 三階には子供用の遊ぶスペースがあるのですが、昔ながらのコマやダルマ落とし、竹トンボなど木製おもちゃで遊べるようになってました。 まだまだ秋田には知らない良いところがたくさんあると思いました。

国道285号線を道の駅方面から車を走らせていると、木々の合間からお城の様な建物を発見、丁度真下当たりだろうか左手に駐車場が有り、直進すると車で行くルート、駐車場に車を置いて歩いて行くルートに分かれる様だ。当然車で行く。築城は西暦1984年と比較的新しいお城です。冬季休業期間を経て4月よりオープンした様です。演目は森林、町のシンボルだそうです。

Just happened to see this castle as driving by , had time, so we stopped. Free no charge. Highly suggest to by pass the first level parking lot at the BOTTOM of the hill, unless you are a hiker and need exercise. Suggest take the narrow road on up to a small parking lot about 30 steps below the front entrance of the castle. Solar powered Castle. 4 floors to review items and history inside the castle and a spectacular view from the top floor. Security Guard was helpful.
