Meiho ski resort — Attraction in Gujo

in March, 2025 it was good to come here this year after a year. rainy morning, but overcasted afternoon. it started blowing gole after the rain, so that thesurface of slopes became so hard that i could hardly run down without any pause. very slippery. however, it was ok to run down on the moguls along the 4th quadlift. In the afternoon, it was cloudy sometimes sunny and snowy.

i should have come one week before, cz we had a lot of snow in gifu. anyway, i had a good day skiing there on a weekday. no waiting for the lifts.

in March, 2024 it was not great for us to ski yesterday as we don't have enough snow this winter. the lower garden is so wide and spacious that u can ski side to side. but there are ill mannered snowboarders sitting in the center and standing the end of the lift queue. so annoying. if u like to ski a MEIHO, try to ski on β slope, where there are less snowboarders cz they are steep and humps and dumps. as for lunch, let's check ur favorite one before u visit.

on 29 march, 2024 coming here after a long time, i skied here for 6 hours on a weekday. it was soon after a heavy rain, but it cleared up! i was lucky to run down from 10 to 4pm. i can give 4 stars to this trip. almost all the liftway...

Nice ski resort with good infrastructure for parking (cost: ¥1000), some restaurants and food court also on the snow area. You can get ski or snowboard classes and there is one equipment rental shop too. It has several trails and lifts and the trails are usually very wide, being great for beginners, but there are some very technical advanced routes too. The way to the station is not too close from the highway and is not always very clean and a little difficult to reach with normal car (without winter tires) in heavy snow or ice condition. But it is not very steep. This route may get crowded and slow...

The courses are really great and enjoyable! Their big selling point is the alpha-5000 route and on good bright yet cold days, the view is breathtaking and superb! Really begginer friendly and I would recommend one to come and test the course yourself.

Has a prayer room upstairs but I guess you need to let the staff know if you want to use. Just strange that they are prayer-friendly facility but the food option at the restaurants or cafes is all with meat (chicken, pork) and there's no vegetarian or non-meat option. How...
