Nice for a stroll, especially with dogs. Can spend time playing along the river, rock-skipping. Benches, tables for a quick eat/picnic. Perfect time to visit during dusk or dawn. Public restrooms. Free parking. Across from Tove Jansson/Moomin theme park.

入間川の河川敷を利用した、各種グラウンドやテニスコート、子供の用の遊び場、芝生ゾーンやちょっとした林などがある公園です。 名前の通り主にスポーツや各種運動向きで色んなものがあるわけではありませんが、川沿いの散歩などは心地良いです。ちょっと川の水は臭いますけどね； ちびっこ広場には子供用の遊具があるので休日は家族で遊びに来ている人も多くけっこう賑やかですね。逆に平日は朝夕の散歩やランニングの人くらいです。 駐車場は夜には閉じられるのでご注意ください（季節によって時間が異なるのでご確認を）。また入口がラウンドアバウトになっています。 特に土日祝は小さな子供連れの方も多いので場内の移動もお気をつけて。 流れ橋を渡って対岸の岩沢運動公園とセットのような感じです。そちらもグラウンドと芝生広場くらいしかありませんが……。芝生の広場としては岩沢側の方が広いですかね。 向かいにベルク（スーパー）とカインズ（ホームセンター）があり、少し離れたところにコンビニもあります。

2025年9月追記 西側の駐車場手前の大きな木の洞にスズメバチの巣があります。「ハチに注意」の看板があります。だいぶ上にあるので何もしなければ襲われたりはしないと思いますが気を付けて。 ××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××× 自転車の乗り入れは禁止です！ウオーキングで良く行きますが、自転車が危ないです。園内は自転車の乗り入れ禁止なのですが通学時間の高校生がめちゃくちゃ飛ばしてます。その後はお年寄りがフラフラ走って来ます。とても良いところなので自転車と人を上手く分けられると良いですね。サイクリングロードが出来たらいいですね。 運動公園というだけあって野球場、サッカー場、テニスコートから小さいお子さん用の遊具等広い敷地にありますが、自動販売機で飲み物が買えるだけで食べるものは買えません。

Great little park opposite Akebono Children’s Forest with lots of play equipment, slides, swings, a hedge with hiding places and a bathroom. Awesome place to stop and let the kids get their energy out after a visit to the Children’s Forest. Also has...

It has a selection of playground equipment for all ages from spider web climbing for older kids to baby slides for toddlers. Not much else in the park though. Free parking. Near to the unique play area...
