Ne-no-gongen — Attraction in Hanno

So I’m gonna have to come back here on a day that is less stormy. There didn’t seem to be anyone around or at least they didn’t look like they wanted to be bothered. I was one of the only visitors if not the only person there on a Tuesday after a big rain storm. The drive up and back was harrowing, but I am. I have heard the hike is even harder. There’s a lot of stuff listed on the website that wasn’t immediately visible to me, but I’m OK with that. It would be nice to have an excuse to come back here. This is one of those amazing places that you find in the mountains of Japan that have millennia of history and so many stories to tell. I have a feeling I’ll come back here at least once more to check it out again under different circumstances.
