Takehana Betsuin Temple — Attraction in Hashima

The temple and grounds seem fairly typical, but the vast wisteria trellis is completely breathtaking, if the season is right. In 2019, went on April 23 and it was a touch before the peak, but still sublime. Extremely recommended. If it’s a warmer than usual spring, best to go in late April and not May (could be withered).
