Sugimura Park — Attraction in Hashimoto

Lovely old park, bridge, and new playground here. There are three parking spaces, two are very difficult to drive to, especially with a big car, then there is one just off the main road next to the playground, which is really easy to park. There's an old playground, suitable for older kids, nobody was there on a weekday, and it was a rare to see in Japan, small wooden 'adventure' style park, with some usual metal slides and swings. The newer playground has stuff from 1 years old, and older kids. My toddler had a good time here! The toilets here are nice...

Sugimura Park is a good size with facilities such as a childrens playground, toilet and even a local museum. Head to the suspension bridge that goes over the Maruo pond for a view of Miyukitsuji and Gomo areas looking east or to the local mountains looking west.
