It’s a nice place to enjoy skiing/snowboarding However if you are a complete beginner I would recommend going with someone who is comfortable enough to help you. The resort do offer a lesson for beginners but it’s a little bit high priced. There is a lift that takes you up the hill and there is a slope for beginners and others for professionals. There is also a place to enjoy a hot meal, they offer ramen and curry rice… To reach the resort, you could either go by car, or take the bus and make a reservation with their shuttle bus to pick you to and from the resort. You can rent everything in there except hats and gloves. General advice: Snowboarding requires you to have an upper body strength to be able to stand up once you secure the board on which is done sitting down. This place actually has snow covering every bit of each of the routes, some periodic jumps you can take or not take, some steeper slopes towards the top and more gradual slopes towards the bottom, and it's closer to base than the other places. This place is awesome for beginners such as myself. Today was only my second attempt at snowboarding ever and I improved immensely in comparison to how I did my first time at another resort. I'll admit, my improvement could be considered normal BUT given that this place actually had snow all over the routes and there were not rocks or mud patches or planks of wood in the middle of the route, I had the confidence to relax a little more and not be so afraid of each and every fall I took.
