A little hard to find so I've included photos of the closest parking lot and the entrance. Parking is free but not a lot of spaces. It's about 25-30 minutes to the spot. When you reach the end of the steps you'll see a sign post - turn right there and it's very close. However, the last section is very steep and requires using your hands to grab tree branches. 2017.5.4に榛名山を訪れた時、掃部ヶ岳に行く途中で立ち寄りました。高崎市林間学校榛名湖荘脇から登り、20分もすると鞍部に出るので右折し、そこから一息で着きます。榛名湖や榛名富士を始め烏帽子岳やその他の外輪山の山々がよく見渡せる絶景ポイントです。湖岸から見ると山の斜面に突き出た巨大な岩のように見え、実際の場所も、岩が転がっていると言うよりは岩の上を進む格好です。簡単に登れて見晴らしが良くて、おすすめポイントです。そこから掃部ヶ岳までも約50分なので、ハイキングコースとしてもお勧めします。晴れていたので、浅間山、浅間隠山、鼻曲山、篭ノ登山、蓼科山など...
